Dr. Frank Glass, admissions and records dean at Middle Tennessee State University for the past four years, will be the new dean of instruction at Motlow College. His appointment was announced Tuesday by Dr. Harry Wagner, president of Motlow. The new dean will assume his duties August eighteenth. Dr. Glass was chosen from among three persons who were selected by a faculty-student-staff search committee and who were interviewed two weeks ago on the Motlow Campus.

Dr. Glass will succeed Dr. Don England, who has resigned effective with the beginning of the fall quarter. “We are delighted to have Dr. Glass at Motlow,” said Dr. Wagner, “He brings a vast amount of experience with him and we look forward to having him on campus.”

Dr. Glass commented that he considers his new post “a tremendous challenge.” “I am looking forward to working in an environment such as that Motlow, where there is opportunity for close contact with faculty and staff,” he said, “Leaving Murfreesboro and our many friends there was a difficult decision for my family and me, but we have been most impressed with Tullahoma and the surrounding communities and are anxious to get started at Motlow.”
