TVA conducts surveys in area
Tennessee Valley Authority is conducting an archeological survey around reservoirs near here.
Dale Hasty of Tullahoma, a resource intern, is working around Tims Ford and Woods reservoirs and Elk River to locate and map sites for possible excavation and reference.
The TVA Resource Internship program is administered in cooperation with tributary organizations and higher education institutions in the Tennessee Valley. Information is being recorded at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Mr. Hasty attends Motlow College. He graduated from Tullahoma High School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Houston Hasty of Old Tullahoma- Winchester Highway.
