Smith promoted at Motlow College
Motlow State College officials announced the promotion of J.R. Smith to HVAC (heating, venting, and air conditioning) technician II. Smith had been with the college for seven years and was a maintenance mechanic before accepting the technician position.
Smith earned a general educational diploma at Motlow and is a graduate of the Tennessee Technology Center at Shelbyville, where he studied industrial electricity and electronics.
Smith and his wife, Gloria, live in Tullahoma. They have two sons, Josh and Robert and two grandchildren.
