All during this school year, every Motlow State baseball player has "adopted" a Farrar Elementary School student as part of a program called, "Motlow Mentors," started by third-grade teacher, Donna Rhoton, wife of Bucks' coach, Don Rhoton. During the week, a player will go to the school, at various times, to help with homework and to just, "be a buddy" Donna Rhoton said. Tuesday, the youngsters returned the favor by rooting the Buks on to a doubleheader victory over Walters State at the Driver complex.
