Pentecostal Students Fellowships International
The United Pentecostal Church is deeply interested in youth, and because of the concern it wishes to influence students of institutions of learning to a fuller, cleaner, and more beneficial biblical knowledge and experience. Because of this desire the P.S.F.I. was formed. Membership in the P.S.F.I. is not denied to anyone on the basis of race, nationality, or religion.
The officers are: Mike Yarbro, President; Dale Hasty, Vice-President; Mitzi Carr, Secretary-Treasurer.
Phi Rho Pi
Phi Rho Pi, an honorary society forJunior Colleges, was introduced to Motlow in 1971. After considerable growth and achievement, it became a separate organization this year. Membership into Phi Rho Pi requires that students must participate intercollegiately in at least two Forensic Tournaments and demonstrate a continuing interest in the art of speaking. Officers elected at the annual initiation banquet are Eddie Braden, President; Donna Golden, Secretary. Mrs. Helen White is faculty sponsor.
Clubs
Student Government Association
Student Government is an organization that bridges the gap between the students and the faculty, working for the improvement of school relations. The SGA speaks for the student body and has gained respect in the school and community. Ken McMurtry, President; Shelia Jackson, Secretary; and Lois Hudson, Treasurer.
