Baptist Student Union
The Motlow Baptist Student Union is Sponsored by the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Duck River, New Duck River and William Carey Baptist Associations. During the 1971-72 school year the BSU sponsored two concerts and met in weekly business and devotional meetings on campus. Pam Medley, Joel Brewer, Dale Hasty and Mr. & Mrs. Edd Hancock, BSU Director participated in a special mission project in West Palm Beach, Florida during the Spring break.

Motlow State Community College Chorus
The MSCC Chorus is a credit class involved in music activities on and off campus. As a choral performing unit, it presents a variety of programs to schools, churches, and clubs in this area. Its goals, in enjoying music, are to entertain and advertise Motlow College.
Chorus membership is voluntary, students register by the number of quarters of sequence participation. There are six quarters available.
The Chorus sings a variety of vocal styles, the renaissance through contemporary works. These include accompanied and a cappella, instrumental and piano accompaniments, sacred, and secular, folk and art songs, selection from Broadway, TV, and record successes and master works. The primary requirements are a desire to sing and punctual attendance.
Clubs
Forensics Club
The Forensics Club, under the direction of Mrs.Helen White, participated in Forensic Tournaments this year in Florida, Mississippi, Kentucky, and various tournaments in Tennessee including the State Tournament at Tennessee Technological University. Events included debate, oral interpretation, persuasive, extemporaneous, and after-dinner speaking. Membership is open to anyone interested in any phase of forensic activity.
