Archaeology Club
The Motlow Archaeology Club was formed in the Fall Quarter, 1971. Some 20 students have joined the club and have been engaged in a variety of archaeological activities. Surface hunts have produced a great number of artifacts which are being classified and catalogued. Also, a site of such importance as to require excavation has been found and the club is planning to spend several months digging under professional supervision. The material from this site will be permanently displayed in a museum to be jointly established by the club and the college.
The officers are: John Coverdale, President; Gerald Kemp, Vice-President; Carlton Edmunds, Treasurer. Mr. Gilley Stephens and Dr. Michael Bradley are faculty sponsors.

The Art Club is designed to enable more effective living through the exploration of art and the relationship of art to everyday experiences.
