DEDICATED TO THE MOTLOW ENGLISH DEPARTMENT I AM A COOK OP PINEST FARE
MY SOUPS AND STEWS BEYOND COMPARE ARE VICTUALS THAT FOLKS LIKE TO EAT
IN WINTER'S COLD OR SUMMER'S HEAT. THE SONDRY FOLK FROM KILES AROUND
SAY NY FOOD IS THE BEST THAT CAN BE FOUND. TWO MEALS A DAY DO I PREPARE
IN KITCHENS, HOT AND HUMID THERE! THE CAULDRON'S FIRE IS NEVER STILL
THOUGH ALL HAVE BATEN TO THEIR PILL. THE TOOLS I USE ARE CRUDE AND ROUGH
TO CUT AND CHOP THE MEAT THAT'S TOUGH MY FLESHING HOOK IS NEAR ON A STAND
LIKE ALL MY TOOLS ARE MADE BY HAND. THE VICTUALS THAT YOU EAT THIS EVE

HAVE STOMACH IS STRONG, THEY CAN DIGEST THE PUDDINGS, WELL THEY ALL BE PINE
WITH MILK AND EGGS THEY ARE SUBLIME. BUT MEATS, THEY HAVE SUSPICIOUS SMELL
(THE ONES THE BUTCHER COULD NOT SELL) YOU WOULD JUST AS SOON NOT EAT THIS BEAST
E'EN THOUGH IT BE A HEARTY FEAST BUT SOAKED IN BITTER HERBS AND WINE
I DO NOT THINK THAT YOU WILL MIND AND EVEN THOUGH YOU LOOK SOME PALE
WITH LOTS OF WINE OR LONDON ALE WHEN YOU GO TO YOUR DARK DANK ROOM
YOU WILL SLEEP TILL TOMORROW NOON.
AND AS YOU SLEEP DO NOT DARE TO DREAM
OF SOUPS WITH MEAT AND PIES WITH CREAM. BUT IF YOU WAKEN IN THE NIGHT
YOUR STOMACH SICK AND YOUR HEAD TIGHT, DO NOT WORRY, FOR TOMORROW'S PARE
ANOTHER FEAST BEYOND COMPARE THE MEAL I HAVE PLANNED IS TRULY GREAT,
THERE IS A CHICKEN THAT I WILL TAKE (AS SOON AS I CAN CATCH THE THING)
I WILL GET HIM AND HIS NECK I WILL WRING, AND PLUCK HIM, HE WILL BE SMOOTH AND BARE
HE WON'T KNOW SO HE WON'T CARE. NOW I MUST HURRY, AND HAVE COURAGE
FOR I AM GOING ON A PILGRIMAGE. THE GUILDSMAN, HE HAS HIRED ME
TO BE HIS COOK ON THIS JOURNEY I WILL COOK HIS FAVORITE MEAL,
SOMETIMES GOOSE AND SOMETIMES VEAL
WITH LOTS OF BREAD AND SOMETIMES CAKE
(THE SUMNER'S HAT I WILL NOT TAKE) NOW TOR THE MONK, A BIG FAT SWAN,
THE FRIAR HE LIKES LIVER OF THE CAPON. OTHERS EAT FOOD SO VERY QUAINT
THEY MAY GET SICK OR EVEN PAINT OR PEEL AS THOUGH THEY MAY EVEN DIE
BUT A PARDONER AND DOCTOR WILL BE NEARBY NOW THIS IS APRIL, A SUNNY DAY
AND WE WILL SOON DE ON OUR WAY WITH OUR KNIGHT SO TRULY BRAVE,
A MOST EXCEPTIONAL POWERFUL KNAVE. AND WITH MANY MORE SO MERRILY

UNTITLED
Once in every 1ifetime, we find a friend that makes our world go 'round. Only once in every lifetime can a friend such as you be found. At first I took for granted the friendship that you tried so hard to offer Never realizing that all along, you' were the hope I had been looking for. Along with my anger and stubborn pride, I had built around me a WA11 But suddenly when you entered my life, it began to crumble and fall. In it's place we built a bridge that united our worlds together And from there we built a friendship that we can hold onto forever. Through the years and through the tears with the memories we've made So many times at this point in our lives, people go their separate ways Carrying with them only their hearts and the memories of former days It doesn't matter how far apart we are or where either one of US may go Miles may lie between us, but there's something we both know The bridge that took us so long to build is now still standing strong It has weathered many stores, but it stood there all along It serves as a reninder of our friendship and we'll never let i fall One bridge built out of friendship can conquer any wall. Only once in every lifetime, we find a friend that makes our world go 'round. Only once in every lifetime can a friend such as you be found.
