They were chosen before basketball season in a try-out session of the basis of ability, co-ordination, and personality. They were judged by cheerleader counselors from nearby county schools, who, consequently, did a fine job of electing the vivacious group of cheerleaders. The squad consists of Susan Gardner from Tullahoma, Jeannie Ring from Decherd, and Crystal Sullenger of Huntland. Sue Terry and Susan Harris, both of Tullahoma, and Jane Hamlin from Fayetteville round out the cheerleading squad. Kay Stewart, from Fayetteville, was elected as the captain.
