Description
Beginning their first year of intercollegiate play, the Buckettes were at a real disadvantage with only four members of the squad having played high school ball. Even though they finished the regular season with only two victories, they made it to the semi-finals of the region 7 tournament at Gallatin by defeating the favored Northeast Mississippi Community College team. Although they lost to Volunteer State in the semi-finals, the Buckettes still made a great showing for a first year team.
